I'll Meet You There

Hello everyone!!!

This is a watercolor painting of Icy (my fursona) and I, sitting in the window sill in my Social Studies/ Engish/ Homeroom classroom. I'm on summer vacation now, but during the school year, that window sill was officially my spot and I was the only one who was allowed to sit there. Towards the end of the year, I started imagining Icy following me around school (I pictured her watching me and just sorta chilling at random times). Often when I was sitting in my window sill, I would see/picture her laying next to me, resting her head on my leg. I had also started referring to myself as Icy in my head.

Recently, when I think about myself, she has been representing my emotions. When I'm sad and I fake a smile, she is standing or sitting somewhere in the room feeling depressed for me, so that I can act happy. That's how I see her, and I kind of wanted to draw the two of us together

Sorry I've been really lazy recently BTW. I was at the Belgian coast last week, and only got about an hour of internet the entire trip (which I used for replying to comments). I did draw while I was there, but everything I drew sucked. I'll be gone again next week with no internet again. Sorry about that!

This took somewhere between 6 and 8 hours (I didn't time myself, 'cause I didn't see the point). The shoes took forever, and I tried really hard to draw myself with my real height, hair color, and eye color (and yes, my skin really does have that hideous pinkish color. A lot of people mistaken it for sunburn XD) Icy's body should have been slightly longer though. Oops  

Materials
- 2H and 2B penicls (for the basic sketch, but they were all erased)
- Ebony pencil
- Black, permanent outlining pen
- Watercolors
- Eraser (this took a lot of erasing)
